This shouldn’t come as a shock. Recall old man Bush cut off Chinese norinco ammo long ago. No president ever reversed it.

They can’t ban guns, though they can try, but they can make it more costly.

I never understood the distinction made between communism. Where is the line and why is it there? china no guns, no ammo imported to USA. russia guns and ammo imported to USA okay. Or is it racist to ask? Can anyone clarify my feeble understanding?

The lines are grey. Japan is also a socialist country but you don’t hear much about that

I ditched all my AK type rifles except the one my dad got me right before he passed away... he bought all us brothers (3) an AK type rifle in 2002. I never warmed up to the AK ergonomics, like the HK 91, HK 93, and FN-FAL PARA I once had, they all just feel odd to me.

But... just because, I just bought 400 rounds for $139 shipped... not bad I suppose, I'll add it to my stash of X39 ammo and shoot it on special occasions to honor my dad.

Suck for the AK guys though... panic buying, loss of imported ammo, not good in an already strained setting.

This is a pic my brothers and I, along with my son, who is now 26, and my dad just before he passed... and I just got word today my son was selected for Staff Sergeant... where does the time go?

40% of ammo sold here is made in russia. Not just 7.62

This is a direct attack on the 2nd amendment. He can't pass legislation so he is sneaking around. Prices are gonna skyrocket. It'll be worse than before

And republicans won't do shit cause muh russia and muh human rights

40% of our ammo comes from russia including 9mm, 308, 223, 45, 22lr and 12 ga to name the mainstays

It's chink ammo we no longer get, and Russian weapons were also off the books since the Ukraine happening. Also Ukraine stopped exporting ammo due to factory loss and the friciking civil war

So basically all the cheap options such as tula, vympel, bear, red army standard, wolf, and several others are gone. Russian ammo was pushing prices down due to competition, and providing a large and reliable supply of steel case. Now? It's gonne. Your supply of ammo is gone down by 40%

It'll take years for other countries to build up the slack, and even so i highly doubt they can provide the quality, and mainly volume that Russia did. And no, domestic manufacturers won't suffice. They barely cope with current demand, and i highly doubt anyone is going to open massive ammo plants in the Russian scale anytime soon. Primers? New shortage too

This is really serious. Worse than an AWB for the 2A. It doesn't matter if he doesn't pass meaningful laws through congress, he is literally pricing out poor people and ensuring everyone else trains less.

Russia and China, biggest ammo producers are out of the market. Enjoy 1Dpr once people catch up and steel case dissapears from the shelves.

This needs a lawsuit ASAP, this is more serious than people realize, way too serious

So because your stash doesn't have any it doesnt exist?

Pretty sure that’s not what I said, but there have been sanctions on the owners of Russian ammo manufacturing since 2018 and they’ve moved a lot if not most of their export ammo manufacturing to locations other than Russia. Personally. Have no dog in the fight, I can’t change a damn thing they are going to do so I’m not going to worry about it. I’ll just keep pressing on doing what I do.
