Saw one today at the range, small and very concealable, built in laser was cool. Anyone carrying this one and how does t compare to he Ruger LCP?

I have owned a bodyguard 380 for 5 months and shoot it regularly at the range with no problems. I like it much better than the p3at keltec.

Awesome guns, and for the size, extremely accurate. The Bodyguard 380 all but disappears in my pocket for daily carry. The only gripe I have with them (and keep in mind, my dad, brother and co-worker all bought them, and have all had the same problem), the set screw for the laser in the frame seems to back off at random intervals during firing to a point where the slide will lock-up. You bascially have to shear the head of the screw off, or send the gun back to S&W for them to do the same thing and replace it. Best advice, take the screw out holding in the laser as soon as you get it and add a dab of loctite. Save yourself the headache later. I can only imagine someone carrying this for EDC and depending on it only to have the slide hangup after a round or two.

*Good news is, IF it does happen to you, their customer service was awesome. Emailed me a PP label within 2 hours of my phone call, boxed it up and it went out that afternoon. Got it back in about a week, all free of charge*

I have put over 600 rounds through mine with no jamming issues. Had the laser screw problem when trying to break down to clean it. It is a little picky with some ammo needing a second strike with some brands. Trust it to carry everyday.
