Ruger P-85

Has anybody shot one of these? I want to know some pros and cons on it. Someone I work with is selling one for $200. Sounds like a good deal to me but im not firmiliar with these pistols.

Had a P-89 once, loved it. I don't know the difference between the two, other than the P-89 replaced the P-85. I'd jump on it for that price.

You just about can't go wrong with any Ruger firearm for that price. I have owned a P-85 and a P-89. Both great guns and go bang every time. If you pass on it for $200, let me know. I want it! Heck, I would give you $225 for it if you do buy it. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Dad has a p85 its a great gun. Cant really go wrong with any p series pistol.

I have a P-85 and P-89. both are great guns. My wife uses the P-89, with Hogue grips as her bedside table gun. I still take the P-85 to the range every time I go, just because it is fun to shoot.

Price is good but the triggers are always grainy like overlapping sandpaper.

Got a Ruger P90, great gun other than heavy as a paper weight on my desk. Like my Glock 23 better.
