I have one 1911 type pistol. It's the Ruger. Fine accuracy for me; perfect functioning; no problems with it. If I remember correctly, I had to wait 10 months before Uber's was able to get one in for me. At the time mine came in, Uber's still had a waiting list for them.

I have been hunting for the Ruger 1911 since they came out and as soon as I find one I'll buy it. I would love to place an order with a dealer but so far all the dealers just laugh at me when I mention Ruger 1911, they just tell me "Good luck" and send me on my way. So far the only place that has showed an effort in helping me find one is Owens in Jay. I'm beginning to think they may not really exist lol.

Where is this Uber's I keep reading about on here? never heard of them.

Here is a good user reviewer on a bunch of 1911. He has the Ruger SR1911 listed. A good comparison of most 1911s at a lot of price points.

My only issue is cast parts. Prefer forged frames and slides. Minor MIM parts can be changed out.
