A terrific talent
He was an incredible song writer. I imagine “Me and Bobby McGee” and “Sunday Morning Coming Down” were his biggest.
He was a huge deal in Nashville in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
I saw him and Rita Coolidge (his wife at the time) in 1976 at the FSU homecoming.
