I hear you. There was a story recently on NPR about the Amazon warehouse that wanted to unionize and believe it or not NPR actually interviewed folks from both sides...what stuck out to me was the lady who was pro union saying that even though they were being paid $15 hr with good benefits, she needed a “living wage”, are you kidding me lady for a cost of living in Alabama...? I’d like to think that is good pay for the avg person in that state, it certainly is about double the minimum wage of Florida as of right now...Also the pic included was posted recently in the news.There is a lot of talk about the labor crisis that is affecting places like McDonalds and such, it’s being blamed on the stimulus checks, when you pay someone to stay home this kind of thing happens.
