I have a Winchester SXP Defender with an 18.5" barrel. I was wondering if I could get a 22" or a 24" replacement barrel for it. I am happy with what I have I am just curious.

I am using the gun for clay shooting at the moment. I didn't think having a shorter barrel would make that much of a difference but I have heard otherwise. I would have skipped this one and just bought one with a longer barrel at the store but I got a good deal on this one. And I had the money when it came up for sale.

Thank you for the information. I will check both those websites. I am going to go to the range myself and see if I can hit any clays with the 18.5" barrel before I buy anything else just to see.

If you are using it for cly shooting I would look at going with a 28". For me it just gives me a better sight plain, jmo good luck on your purchase.
