1700 fps!?!

Pretty ridiculous. Anyone tried it yet?

I just switched over my 30-06 to the hypersonic rounds. It does give me a faster, flatter round compared to the regular core lokt rounds I was using.

No idea on the other rounds though.

Have no idea what the stuff in the OP is ... however ... at 1700 and posted in the shotgun section,it sounds like it could be a really fast load of birdshot. Typically 1325-1400 is clippin' along pretty good for the lighter loads (1oz-1 1/4oz). At 1700fps the load of shot must either be somewhat light(maybe non-lead)or new powders have been discovered in the last few years.

Bill is correct. 12ga birdshot. It's steel though. The ballistic advancements as of late are astonishing across the board. It's gotta kick like a mule though.

Call me I can tell u all about it. I shot 500 shells last duck season and shot 150 skeet with it also for practic.

What load is it throwin' ?? Is it 2 3/4 and/or 3" ?? 1700fps is freaky fast !! You'd have to learn how to shoot at the slower flying birds all over again. Unless they were waaaaay out you could damn near put the bead on their nose. --- SAWMAN

Yea that's why I shot 150 skeet with them at $27 a box of shells because its nothing like a 1300 fps lead #8

Supersonic is above mach 1(768mph) and less than mach 5, hypersonic is above mach 5 (3840mph).

I've had some buddies use it. It doesn't do anything the regular $15 a box shells doesnt. I've ran just about all of the high dollar stuff and imo you're just buying the hype.

And steel shot sucks!!!

Here is something that WORKS ..... however ..... the price !!

Ever try any of the Hevi-Shot "Dead Coyote" loads ?? Had a guy hunt with me several years ago and he used it. He SLAMMED a 32lb male yote at 70yds with a 12ga,3",Pattern Master choke. We stopped counting pellet holes at 37 or so. DAMN !!

And ..... at only $55. for 10 shells ... ? ... who can't afford these. --- SAWMAN
