    Does this model have more value than the regular 742 's It's a 30-06. Pretty good shape I looked around online but didn't find too much info.

    Agree with the above.

    What markings?

    I have a Ruger .44 Magnum carbine with the Bicentennial markings Ruger put on their firearms during that time which reads "MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR OF THE AMERICAN LIBERTY". My dad bought it new from Montgomery Wards back in 1976.

    Those bring a pretty penny.

    It has the banner with eagle , shield emblem and the dates. that's all I see. No bow or papers, has been shot but not very much that I can gather.
