I had heard last year they were closing due to the passing of the owner...
but just heard a commercial for 'em on the radio...
So what's going on? Open forever again?
    Anyone got the scoop??

I'd actually taken 'em outta my monthly rounds of Gun shops/Pawn shops
because they were "Closing soon..." last year...
but heck, if they're open, I'll be really happy to re-ad them to the route!

Omg no I just found them! Got my only
2k of pistol primers there (last they had). Hope they changed their mind.

I haven't seen anything to that effect on their FB page. The last post was this morning stating they .40cal training/range ammo in.

The owner passed last year (or maybe two), they were having license issues
with the State/or Feds at the time, IIRC...evidently they solved all that.
I'm glad to hear they're still doing biz!!

I'll have to get out there after the Tropical Storm/Hurricane passes!

Last time I was there, about a month ago, I asked about where Mr. Ranger Firearms was. He had a 3006 Luxembourg FN49 I'd sold back to him before moving to Maine about 6 years ago, and I'd like it back. And I was informed that the company was now owned by his exwife and he was not around anymore

Yep, the guy that used to own it pretty much lost the business to the ex. Still open. They seem friendly and decent; no attitude detected. Bought powder and primers there about three weeks back. Pretty good stock of reloading stuff. When the guy owned it, he used to hold reloading classes; not sure if they still do. Never bought a gun there, but it looks like they have new and used. New prices are MSRP; never tried to see if they would deal/discount.

Oh good. They were super helpful to me on my first supply run for powder and primers. Glad to have them available.

Not surprised if they closed. I went in there one time and the new all-girl sales staff were SO ‘uninformed‘ of all things firearm related, and so totally disinterested and unexcited In their products, that I decided NEVER to return. Men shouldn’t sell lingerie and . . . Well, you know.

Girls and guns definitely go together! We got a whole thread here devoted to just girls and guns. You just ain't had a good experience yet. So what if they're uneducated?! Uneducated girls with guns still gave hope for the future. They're better then exwives that hated your gun habit and took half your gun collection anyways

Thanks, Raven. I AGREE with your whole post. I was ONLY commenting on one bad sales experience at one place - NOT all women Salespersons in general. I apologize for my Last lines. They were a misguided and unsuccessful attempt at humor - a subject of which I know even less than lingerie.

I was in there a few days ago. The young lady behind the counter was helpful, friendly and knew quite a bit about the odd and obscure ammo that they had. When I went in, I immediately asked for 9mm, 5.56, .45 ammo and primers. Everybody that worked there had a good laugh and good conservation. I enjoyed my visit.
