Nothing to do with the right size washer. Pin and weld is done mostly to meet 16" requirements from the governmentjust get the right size crush washer for your thread on the barrel and you dont need to weld or pin it.
I didnt know that? I would never pin or weld my LWRC break, how else can i suppress it when i need to? I like to suppress my LR rifles to so i dont have to wear ear protection. I guess that would be pin and weld the barrel shut.I did this last time I was home. Not home now, but if you wait till January I can hook you up for a bottle of fireball...
