Christmas eve, on a boat again..... year 8 Being away during the holidays sucks. Those of you at home be sure to kiss your bride's tell em merry Christmas and hug those youngans. Anybody thats been in the service knows how much we take for granted when rooted at home in a normal 9-5 job.
Headed into the locks and then out into the lake for Christmas day.

Don’t worry 9-5 ain’t “normal” nor is 11-7. It probably sucks worse than your job and there’s usually no scenery.

At tropical Two Harbors loading. Braved the plague riddled MN. To walk to the store. Had to drop the anchor day before, was frozen in pocket. Frozen water is amazing, 20 ton anchor frozen in the pocket. Had to put the windlass in gear to yank on it to get free.

Prob the safest part of that city lol. What is that last pic Rebel?
Sprinkler that we use to melt/loosen the ice. That one is the 1 inch hose. Have 2 others that use the 1.5. Using jacket water from the engines, stingy bastards won't light the boilers. Now that we're at dock, just lake water.
