I will call this a fun thread but I know many of us have thought about it.

What if the “Big One” hit and all you could have is one weapon. Which gun, AR, AK etc. would it be to hold off the Zombies-Low life’s long term with we will say a 75 yard buffer?

Not big on the AR/AK platform...YET...but if crap hit the fan handgun wise would probably be 9mm XDM...just because it holds 20 n the pipe (havent shot it yet either)

I would probably say a PS90, excellent round, can hold 50 rds per mag, and easily reach 75 yards.

22 magnum due to ammo is light and you can carry alot of it at one time. I know I know think bigger but in a true survival situation this fits the bill for me.

Just a .22LR caliber. Maybe ruger 10-22 but would be open to a bolt gun with a tube fed option for reliability since 10-22 mags tend to fail over time and semiauto's jam if not cleaned often.Opinion of course.

Hey does anyone know of a rifle that shoots 22 mag and LR that is not a single shot? Would love a model # and opinion.

I have seen online a Marlin 22 mag, bolt action, tube fed,Tapped for a scope but it doesnt say anywhere on review that it will also shoot .22LR? It is listed for $209 but not availible for sale-out of stock at cheaper than dirt. so if anyone see's in stock please let me know maybe they will have more info in write up.

x2 on bolt .22. you can tote tons of ammo and kill most anything around here.

I'd take my .22LR SBR with its silencer attached. I have tons of mags, tons of ammo, its compact, light weight, I can get hits out past 100 yards with the eotech and magnifier on it and maybe most importantly nobody would ever hear me shooting it.

My 11.5 AR15 SBR. I also have a .22 conversion and a suppressor if needed. Handgun wise, I'd take my Glock 17.

I'm surprised no one mentioned a shotgun yet.

I like AR's but would have to go with an AK in this type situation. Better yet an M79 with assorted ammo and some claymores.

Stanley any chance your the guy who bought that stock from me at Blue Angle Walmart? I sold one a few months back just like that.
also = where do you get a 25 rd drum? I have five 20 rd drums but have never seen a 25 rd

Small world yes I am the one that bought that bullpup kit from ya. It's awesome by the way thanks! O and I'm at casino so I can't double check that drum now but will ASAP for ya and get a brand I have never used it and could b wrong but pretty sure it was a 25 and I do remember a 20 being a option? But with the kit it gets in the way of comfort for wrist but not bad enough if shit hit the fan not to want it though LOL! EDIT= I just looked at place I bought and they do NOT offer a 25round. Must be wrong sorry
