in todays world. This list is by no means complete or exclusive. Just things that occur to me on a fairly frequent basis.
1. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
2. There are no “safe” neighborhoods.
3. When in public, be alert to your surroundings. Your head should be on a 360 degree swivel.
4. Lock your doors, both home and car.
5. The Calvary is not coming to save you. You’re on your own in a critical encounter, even if you call 911. First responders take time to get to you.
6. You should have ready access to defensive firearms at all times.
7. Accept that evil exists in this world, and it may come calling. You have only yourself to rely one. Be prepared to fight. Be armed. Be ready.
