The M70 is my favorite AK. It has a good heavy and solid feel to it. It has thicker receiver walls and slightly larger proportions. I love the way they fit. Most are new builds too. Just be careful with corrosive ammo since it's not chrome lined. Also, as long as you stay away from the fixed wooden stick your cheek-weld should be fine, that stock has the most ridiculous hump that makes it nearly impossible to shoot with irons. The AB2 is the factory underfolder version, and any fixed stock can be changed for a side folder. Overall, a solid choice IMO.

That is the stupidest stock EVER placed on a rifle of any kind. Fortunately, that price leaves you room to replace the stupid thing.

If you can stretch your budget a bit, the Centurion does 1moa with a decent optic and is on an American-made milled receiver, but you'll have to replace the furniture as well, and I don't think anyone makes a folder for it.

I love me a good AK, the purist in me says it has to be wood furniture and doesn't really have to be pretty. Just shoot straight. I can get a pretty good group at 100 yards with my MAADI's.
