Harrington & Richardson Service Grade M1 Garand purchased from the Civilian Marksmanship Program in 2010. Rifle was produced in February 1954 according to my research. Has a 5-55 HRA barrel in great shape.

It has multiple HRA components. SA bolt.
I refinished the CMP stock in the attractive and sought after "Arsenal Red" color with a flat finish. It is smooth and trigger group locks up tight for best accuracy & consistency. There is a small finish blemish on the right side just below the rear of the receiver but it is notable only on close inspection. Front handguard is tight with no play.
CMP rifle sales are currently closed until summer so this is a great opportunity to purchase.
This is a beautiful post-war rifle in the desirable HRA 5.6 million range for M1 aficionados and a great shooter or an attractive display model for anyone's collection. Ships in CMP Flambeau case with 1 clip and CMP papers.
