Something a little fishy: when Buds started selling these Turkish .45s A few (models/finishes) a Vid they made said it was the gun used by Turkish armed forces. I checked Wiki and it was not listed as Turkey's Service handgun. I have seen a few show up on the used market too. That makes me wonder too as they have not been in the US for very long. The cost is not too bad @ about $400. I put these in the same basket as those fish guns the Canik Stingray, Shark, and dolphin.

Sometimes you can get on the ground floor of a great firearm release. but I don't think these are it. IMHO

Yeah, Buds has been pushing them for awhile. I guess it's all they have to sell other than elephant guns.
One can't have too many 1911s. If I could handle one I would consider it but not blind mail order.

I would look for an owner review and then consider how expert the review is done as part of the validity. I like the NutnFancy Project but they do not get their hands on everything.

Might be some factory history that crosses to other firearms/manufacture names that could give you a warm and fuzzy or not!

    Check this factory vid: http://www.trabzonsilah.com/eng/index2.php?p=tfilmi

If I was going to bite I would go with the SS. I think you can sell SS guns faster on the second hand market too.

    Buds is out of stock.

I've heard mixed reviews also but with the warranty and following of RIA its a no brainer in my eyes.....my 2 cents.

Yea, get a RIA. I have e few, they are great guns for the money. The full size is 9 MM, the other is a .45.
