    Awesome....Was there about a year and a half ago fer my boy! He is stationed in Jacksonville and got accepted to the Naval Academy in June so he'll be there fer 4 years!!!

    Congrats! I graduated from Annapolis in '06.
    If he (or you guys as the parents) have any questions or need any kind of advice, PM me. I'd be happy to help. I will say this: Plebe year is like a year long boot camp with college courses thrown in. Since he's not going to NAPS, advice him to brush up on Chemistry, damn near got me.

    Good luck to your son. I graduated from USNA back in 1978 so any advice I could offer is just a mite dated. Dan1612 has more current knowledge. Plebe Summer is one of those deals best seen in the rear view mirror.....
