My neighbor gave me a aimpoint

I bought a battery for it and it will not illuminate.

Also the knob to turn on the red dot and adjust it comes out.

He said it worked before he put it in the safe but is on deployment now so I can't ask him any questions.


Any suggestions of a local shop? Or pointers?

Never had an optic that would cost this much and would love for it to work on a AR or my AR pistol.

If it is a night vision compatible model, the first 4 or 5 clicks from OFF will be for night vision and are not visible to your eye. Make sure you've turned it all the way ON for a visible red dot...just a thought.

I'll give it a try. When I get home hope it's that's simple it is night vision compatible from what I read on it.

Are you suspicious that it belongs to the military thus you can't sent it for repair? If that's the case, you think you should post about it on the internet?
