I'm guessing your not asking about Accurate 5744?

Actually, they may be the same powder.

I'd fire off an email to Accurate for clarification. If MP5744 was surplus military powder then it's not canister grade.
It may be faster or slower burning than the current commercial powder

    This?

The original MP 5744---recycled military powder was really good, cleaner burning, good accuracy. When it became XMP 5744--new process powder, accuracy went in the toilet. Lot's of unburned powder in the barrel, cartridge and chamber even with warm loads and fillers. Not worth your time and money.
