Sadly, so was Trump. He preached about being a 2A guy, but he rapidly signed the bump stock ban and inflated government a great deal. Hope in 2024 we can get a small government Republican who's more constitutionalist than we've seen in the past few decades.

Jury Nullification is Powerful. It's We the People poking the system in the eye and telling them to shove it and we the people will not punish someone with good intentions because of a law that should never have been passed! Sadly, most Judges will give verbal warning in advance to the Jurors to ignore this option , and even though the jury can do what they want there often there will be one or more Dudley Do Right jurors who think they MUST do what the all mighty, black robe wearing dude says.
