The union lost the fight before the strike started when propaganda reported they make $200k a year. They want to go down with a fight. Strike only hastens the automation.

As far as suffering, sorry if their freedoms to make bad decisions hurts your feelings.

    Nope

    Never been a union member

I just think it’s their right to go out fighting. I also tend to support American workers over foreign companies. Once the propaganda got out they making $200k they lost the public whose more interested in cheap crap from China.

How did we ever get in a position where foreign companies are controlling American infrastructure? And the public is supporting the foreign companies?

I have a feeling the ones they LET cross the border will come into play. Just my gut talking. Maybe just gas
I have a feeling you're right! I'll also be stopping after work and getting a few supplies we already have but are repeat buys that may become scarce in a week or two, lessons learned from Covid!

Where the country has messed up and imho will lead to its lean times Is allowing foreign companies to control critical infrastructure and materials.

The union is negotiating against a collective of foreign owned shipping companies and seems most here are rooting for the foreigners, All this is going to end badly for the USA.
Add to that that, instead of manufacturing all the goods we need, we are reduced picking them up off a foreign ship and putting them on the back of a truck, or sitting behind a computer dealing with invoices for foreign goods, or maybe just stocking them on the shelves at Walmart.
