Line question

If I send somebody a PM and when I look at their profile there is a line through their name what does that mean? Does that mean they are simply not online or does that mean I have made an ignore list?

The strike through is usually they have left the conversation. I've had people do that to me and not even respond. I get the hint but it would have been courteous to get some type of reply.

Thats weird. I say that because when I clicked the name to type the first PM the line was already there before a conversation has been started. Anyway I hope he responds.

Ok. After looking at it again. It was not before. However immediately after hitting send. As soon as it was sent the line appeared.

Not exactly sure about here, but I've joined forums where you have options when setting up your account to limit who can & can't contact you, maybe said member doesn't know he's missing DMs??
