has anyone out there modified the tube selector on the ksg12 so that it uses both tubes like the uts15? I like the ksg but it has the fatal flaw of having to stop after 7 rounds select the other tube then fire the other 7. the function of the uts15 is much better but it is an extremely ugly gun. and there is the fact that it looks like a prop from the movie aliens. any help would be appreciated.

No modification to the KSG here... However, if you want greater capacity - the KSG will chamber and function properly with the Aguila mini shotgun shells (slugs, buck shot, and bird shot) whereas the UTS-15 will not.

I think I get 11 or 12 of the minis in each tube of my KSG - I'll have to check. But, I have one tube loaded with slugs and one loaded with the buck shot as a truck gun.

Even though the shells are "mini" - they still launch a 7/8 ounce slug at 1200 fps or a nice combination of #1 and #4 buckshot down range.

Also, it isn't terribly difficult or take much time to flip the selector...

I agree the mini shells are great in the KSG. I have also shot them through my KSG.

I am aware of the mini shell ability, and of the relative ease of switching tubes however there must be some way to modify the thing to use both tubes as the uts can do therefor it is not impossible. and if it is possible it should be the number one requested upgrade.

Sorry loganx - no way to modify the KSG... Also, the selector on the UTS-15 was prone to breakage - thus why I got rid of mine. It broke at JJ's the first time I used it. When it came back from the factory - it was broken again in the box. When it came back the second time from the factory I dumped it...
