I opted to sit a very small patch this afternoon. I arrived about 2:30 and at about 3 I had a 2!year old six point come out. He stayed for the duration. I took some pictures and some video while debating whether or not to let him live. By 5 I'd decided he would see another dawn. He was about 30 feet in front of me when he snapped to attention. I shifted slightly to see a set of antlers trailing a large body right toward me. I had to wait a few minutes for the big boy to walk into my sights (awkward shooting angle) but when he did it was at 20 feet. My muzzeloader went boom and he went about 40yrds and fell over. 7 points, about 5.5 yrs old. He weighed just over 180lbs. This is in north Monroe cty, AL. image.jpg image.jpg
