I have a Weatherby Vanguard S1 model rifle chambered in 300 Weatherby. The rifle was manufactured in 1997 and has a 1 in 10" twist barrel per Weatherby's customer support. I have glass bed the action, added aluminum pillars, and free floated the barrel. I installed a new Timney 1.4-4lb trigger (three stage), sling, EGW one piece picatinny rail, Vortex mounts, and a Vortex Crossfire II 3-12x56 illuminated scope. I have roughly sighted it in at 200 yards. The rifle comes with ammo, Lee dies, brass, and a box of Sierra Gameking 165gr projectiles. I added foam and weight to the butt stock to balance the rifle. I have the original S1 two stage trigger that goes with the rifle.
The cons- There is a small fleck of paint that fell on the front lens internally after I initially fired it. It doesn't affect performance and I have not tried to move it.
