1 rare condition antique Ka-bar exchange-blade hatchet/hunting knife combo. This beautiful antique sambar stag handle combo would make an important addition to any collection.
Both knife blade and hatchet blade are stamped 'KABAR USA'. The knife has a 4 11/16" blade. When affixed to the stag handle, the hatchet measures 12 1/8" overall.
This antique Kabar knife/hatchet combo is in rare condition. Both knife and hatchet have their original, unused factory perfect edges. The stag handle is perfect. The sheath is in exceptional condition. Also original box that makes this such an exceptional collectors piece.
These were produced between 1930 to 1940 making it between between 83 year to 93 years old. I’ve tried extensively to research the exact production date but had only found the years actually made.
I have owned this spectacular piece of Americana for over 20 years were it has only been shuffled around in the safe. I’m sure someone out there would really appreciate it’s rareness and over all excellent condition and add it to their display collection.
