Yeah, they aren't promoting much right now. Her COs are pushing for her. She's done well. Some of you guys probably remember me posting about her being picked for some national recruiting commercials. Hers is on TV all the time. You probably see it at least once a week. She's the fireman on the "I'm an American Airmen" ads.

Congrats to her. I'll bet she was better prepared than I was because I flunked mine the 1st time around. However, I blame that on a hangover and a serious case of short-timers attitude.

I think one thing that helped Ashley is she was older than most of the other recruits going in. She went in just under the age limit. She's smart as hell but also.had already accomplished a lot in her life. She was in banking and had risen to the position to.assistant to the branch manager when she up.and decided to join. She was more mature and completely focused plus she works out every day so the physical end of it wasn't a problem. She ran rings around those couch potato kids plus her study habits are flawless. I would almost call her ruthless but that sounds cutthroat. She helps other people and that's why she wanted to try firefighting and EMT careers. Its just that she zeros in like a laser beam on any goal.
