I have two kinds of ammo I need help identifying….
Wondering what year it’s from, is it safe to shoot, and what could I sell it for…. Just been sitting in safe, got from estate buy out.
First one is a 7.62x51 brass round, with a green Primer ring, and green ring around bullet. Said on shell 7.62x51, mS, 68-59
Second one is a copper tone round, on bottom says 351 and either BB or 88

Thank you in advance for you help.

The 1st is 7.62x51 (308) made in West Germany by Manusaar.. I think the 1st number is the year the 2nd is the lot number. (But the latter is guess work) Company stopped making ammo in the 70s.

Had some and was good surplus ammo.

The copper colored stuff looks like the old Norinco 7.62x39 on SKS stripper clips. Back in the 90’s I remember Mikes having an open wood crate on the counter and it was $1 per loaded clip

7.62 X 39 and MADE IN CHINA on one side along with three chinese characters. Opposite side has WARNING KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN paper sticker attached. Styrofoam holder for the ammo, two rows of 10.

Ammo: Ammo appears to be steel case with copper wash, Headstamp 351 and 92, which I assume is factory 351 and manufactured in 1992.
