I am not an overly cheap person but there is no way I would pay 2,000 for a pistol. In fact I would not pay 1,500 unless it was the sexiest looking, best performing gun in the world. LOL

I am more of a rifle guy. I could build or buy a nice custom rifle for close to 2,000.

As much as I respect MARSOC, I think they would have been better served with something like a Glock 21.

Cost so much because the GOV is the buyer and there is better hand fit and finishing (reliability) and quality control checks. Colt was offering the same gun to the public but about $400 more.
