Every year the 4th means more and more. Give a wave to those who have a base sticker on there car and maybe even say thankyou to the next GI you see at a wallmart or the gas station. You don't know how much it means to them. Just like I didn't rearalise how much it would mean to me after serving more years ago than I care to remember. A girl checker at wallmart saw my VA card in my billfold and thanked me for my service. I think about that alot...A member on this forum thanked me for the work I did here in a pm and that means more to me than I can express. So take the time to thank a GI it will make there day.

I try to do that every chance I get and still feel like I fall short. NO WAY to ever pay the respect to you guys the way you deserve. No way.
