I’ve finally worn out my Lee hand primer after almost a decade and have read that Lee changed the design. What does everyone use and recommend as far as handheld primers?

K & M Precision hand held it takes the Lee shell holders but it is all metal. The Lee is plastic junk

I like using the Dillon 650 for priming. No need to handle the primers and you can knock out a 1000 in a few minutes.

YOU , didn't say if you use both small & large primers ?
I have a Lyman for LRP and it's a PITA as it sometimes allows a 1 1/2 primer to feed, resulting in removing the shell holder to clear the jam.
I use the FA primer for my SRP , so far no problems

Sorry about that but yes both large and small. I’ve got several hundred each of 44 magnum and 9 mil that need to be primed as well as over 100 308 Win and 30/06 Sprg. I prefer to prime by hand while streaming old movies

I love my RCBS hand priming tools. Like War-Buff, I have one set for LPs and one for SPs. Never liked priming on the press, easier to kick back in my recliner and hand-prime. I've got a hornady hand primer, and it's utter garbage. I had a Lee hand primer, and it was ok but gave it to a friend who was getting into reloading. The RCBS is the best one I've used.

I started with a Lee hand press, and still use it for decapping and priming. Sturdy and will work on the couch.

I use my hand priming tools frequently for single-stage loading, but I primed on the bench with my RCBS Rock Chucker for decades, and still do sometimes. The priming system is excellent and uses tubes to feed them into a spring-loaded priming cup ..the primers never touch my fingers. For progressive loading, I let the presses do all the work they're made to do.
