Already cycled the actions 100s of times, still a little stiff. Would like a better trigger and polishing the the loading gate and feed ramp to improve loading the magazine.
polishing goes a long way. Disassemble, polish everything, reassemble. You can polish all parts - just don’t round anything that should be square or sharp.
Yep, what Duckyou said. I've done this with my Marlins. Figure out what parts routinely rub together, then polish them with something like 600 working up to 1000 grit abrassive paper (the black wet-sand stuff) laid on a flat surface, and use plenty of light cutting-type oil. The table of shop tool, or a piece of glass/plexi-glass works great. And just make it shine, don't take too much off, or I told you so. See how that works for ya.
