I hear they are equipping police with stress cards to hold up at traffic stop, weighted vest for the snow flakes and free therapy for the people post traffic stop. No longer carrying tasers and fire arms but foam pool noodles

Don't forget they're trading their police canines for therapy dogs. You can now hold a Pomeranian while getting your traffic safety power point from the officer's laptop

Just went by there. Great couple of guys running the place. Veteran owned and operated. No 9mm plinking ammo, but had defensive rounds and a decent ammo selection in other calibers. Best part, no inflated pricing on guns or ammo. I give them two thumbs up.

Stopped in and snagged a quick box of .223. Nice fellas. Let me drool on their suppressors.

Now days there are lot more gunshops then there use to be. In years past new area gunshops often went bankrupted. There was often not enough business. Population has gone up and we have had a bunch of gun buying scares. A few years from now I wonder how many of the new shops will survive unless americans continue buy guns at break neck rates.

Actually they're kind of replacing the three that were in Pace/Milton that closed over the last 8 years...
two of which are now massage parlors on 90 in pace...
almost right across the street from each other...go figure.
Back when I was on Pace VFD, was shopping the pawn shops every payday!

Drive past Grey Man every Thursday...but working, can't play...dangit.

Several pawn/gun shops in P'cola got nailed by BATF & Florida Agriculture for
various failures in bookkeeping...Miami Pawn on Fairfield got the most press...
Jack's now has really odd business hours so they can avoid scrutiny...
About 6 more just disappeared recently.

Basically the Chain Stores rule the roost...Cash America & Capital,
then one Carson's is still around...PSP has gone full-on Gun Store & Range.
Jim's and Mike's always seem to have 5+ people shopping in 'em...
Don's moved to N. Palafox or 29...haven't found it yet...man needs a bigger sign.
Hrm, that reminds me, anyone been by Uber's lately??
Didn't know how much hack they caught from the NASP shootout...

Yeah, Ubers is hurting for business. She was practically begging for me to buy something to support local business the last time I was in there. And then she ran me off when I tried to have a conversation with another customer about 9mm versus 38spl. I miss the old man Uber. I stopped by Grey Man yesterday. He's got a first rate shop.

"Ubers is hurting for buisness . . . " (??) That sir . . is simply not true.
They have more buisness than they can handle. I do not really understand your motivation for saying this, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Even if it's WRONG. ---- SAWMAN

as i follow this thread i see the names of gun stores i had no idea existed. now, granted, i dont get out much, but perhaps there should be a "GUN STORE MAP" like the " GUN RANGE MAP". or a combination. or something. and if there already is one that i am just not seeing, apologies and someone kindly point it out to me.

I was in UBER'S just a couple of weeks ago. People were in there and people were buying. They had guns for sale, tons of primers, and ammo. The lady, as usual, was very friendly and helpful. I don't think they are hurting for business either. It's one of the few stores that I actually feel welcome in.

Yeah,in Uber's if you don't see it . . look harder or just ask. They got stuff in every corner.
There are older guys that have "get togethers" there. AND BUY !!
How many gunshops actually carry a good supply of reloaders consumables (powder, primers, brass, bullets) ?? In these times more and more people reload their own ammo. You demand . . they supply. This equals cash flow. (Buisness) ---- SAWMAN

I do like Ubers and need to go again. Last time I went was right after the base incident. Went to Grey Mans Armory today and wow nice shop, handgun prices seemed very fair to me and he did have a good selection of defensive ammo. Vey nice guy we talked for quite a awhile. Bought some targets. They also have some nice knives as well. Bought a CKRT M16-04Z and my first Spyderco, an Emphasis PS.
