I recently picked up a G22 used but has never been fired, I'm not sure if a round has even been places in the mag. The problem I am having is, I loaded the mag with 15 rounds and couldn't rack the slide, 14 rounds it works fine. So I loaded the other mag with the same 15 rounds, same problem. The 15th round was hard to get in and yes I counted twice. I know it's not the gun because I loaded the G22 mag and tried it in my G23 and had the same issue. So my question is; are these magazines bad or do they require some kind of break in period? Thanks.

I never loaded the mags and that happened with my other Glock too. Just like everyone else has said load them and let them sit for a few days. The springs in original Glock mags are very strong and sometime you can't even get the max number of rounds in them until they are broken in a little.
