I've owned more than a few pistols in the past that were chambered in 22lr and know they can be picky when cycling certain rds.
Does anyone have any experience with the Glock 44 using Aguila 60gr SSS rds or the like?
What is the fastest rd that it likes?
Are the 18rd mags workable because some have told me they have feed issues?

My G44 has shot 36 and 40 grain high velocity, multiple brands, very reliably. Blazer, Federal, American Eagle, Thunderbolts, Golden Bullets, etc.

The most I have loaded in my 18 rounders is 15, but they functioned fine. I bought a mini-Maglula to use to stuff the last three rounds in the mags.

Use 40 gr, I’ve used different brands and everything seems to work in 40gr. I have 2 promags 18 round and they have been flawless. Bought a used G44 on here, don’t know how many rounds through it, but I’ve shot about 1500 or so. Nice little gun

Wait till you fall down the "lead in a Glock" rabbit hole! We shot ours in competitions using Federal Auto Match. I have used the 18 round mags from ProMag. They were hit or miss. You really need to number them and use the most reliable ones. They are also a finger workout. The 10 round factory mags were reliable, but 10 rounds isn't enough for some competitions including GSSF's own. You need to make sure to get a newer version as some before a certain serial prefix had issues breaking the extractor when using a range flag.

Even Glock can't make a reliable semi auto 22
