Frankenstein… It’s not a collector piece. (understatement.) it is, however, a great shooter, and would make a great SD gun. It is prettier in person than the pictures.
Winchester model 12s will slam fire.
24 inch barrel, nickel steel. 16 gauge. Professionally constructed and in excellent condition.

As this is a model 1912 As opposed to a model 12 Does it have 2 3/4 stamped on the Barrel or by the serial number on the barrel extension. If it was manufactured before 1927 it is possible that it has a 2 9/16 Chamber. 16 or 20 Ga Guns with serial number below 464,565 Could have a short chamber.

As stated in the post… This is a Frankenstein gun. I do not see the markings J Pace mentioned. It does, however cycle 2 3/4 inch shells nicely. It is functional.
