    All matching numbers 1915 m91 mosin made under US contract with Russia. Rifle was manufactured in New England and shipped to Russia in 1915 only 4xx,000 rifles where built by Westinghouse and only a fraction on those remain today. Bore is 10/10, wood is 9/10. Metal/ finish 8/10. Rifle is missing cleaning rod, sling, and top cover for barrel and is being priced accordingly. $600 OBO or trade

    I've had a few of these over the years. I didnt see a caliber listed. Are you sure this one isn't in 30-06? Some were. They were rechambered and issued to US troops after the Russians didnt pay for them. I dont remember seeing US bomb proof marks on my Russian M91. That was many years ago, but seeing US arsenal marks makes me think "US issued" right away

    Bannerman M91s were 30-06 but they were marked on the barrel and the barrel would have been cut back as well. Very few bannermans retained the length or the full stock of an M91.
