The form 4 requires the Chief Law Enforcement Officer signature. I plan on going to the Sheriff's Office to get my fingerprints done, anyone know the easiest way to get the CLEO signature? How did you get yours?

    Best Regards,
    Jerry

In Santa Rosa county, dropped it off with the secretary. Took anywhere between 1 and 4 days.

In Florida, the Sheriff is the CLEO wherever you live -- because we don't have State Police in Florida (no, the FHP are not State Police). Both Sheriff Hall and Sheriff Morgan sign off on NFA forms without a problem for their lawful residents.
