I picked up 100 rounds of American Eagle .223 55gr FMJ at Dick's in Cordova Mall. $49.99. They probably still have them. They also have some 20 round boxes of the same thing (different brand, can't remember). Limit is three 20 round boxes per customer or one 100 round box. The 20 round boxes were also 50¢ per round. I called everywhere and couldn't find anyone with a better price. Dick's had no black rifles. Plenty of shotgun shells. Plenty of .270. A ton of BB's if you're interested.

On a side note, there is a Pawn and Gun store in Milton called Ron's. He has a 1,000 round box of Federal 5.56 55gr FMJ that he is willing to break apart in whatever amount you want. 70¢ per round. I'd snap it up but I'm on leave right now and trying to save a little money for the trip home. Also, Guns n' Such a few blocks South of Ron's has some .223, but that's all the info I have about that. I'm no fan of that place.

Where do you find it cheaper? I can't find any at all in Texas and around here 50¢ was the best I could find. I disagree with Dick's anti AR stance as well but after so many months of finding nothing, I had to jump on it.

Well, for example, I'm selling Wolf .223 (FYI boxer primed if you reload steel cases like I and others do) for $320/1000rd case here on the forum.
