Ok so I have fought investing in CC, but have family members and friends that have invested. I read an article today that said had you invested $1000 in Jan. of this year it would be worth $129,000 right now ! I know it has a TON more risks than traditional investing, in other words just like the casinos don’t bet anymore than you are willing to lose. I have safe investments but I am thinking of throwing a thousand dollars or so at it just to see what it does. And yes I know if you cash out before a year has passed you will pay 40% capital gains on any profit, after a year that drops to 20%, so I thought I would let it ride for a year or so. Thoughts ?

Recently saw a bit on bill mayr's so called show. (HBO, TRUMP TIME WITH BILL MAYR) Bill gates hates it and it may be causing global warming. No, they really said that. Look it up. So the way I see it if they hate it, I need some. Missed that ship though. Lunacy.
If looks to good to be true , then it probably is. But if you just want to gamble, a thousand won’t make or break you. Besides if that ass hat gates doesn’t like it , then that makes me want to buy some.

I jumped in when PayPal started offering it on their app and it has only gone up since. It would probably be a great time to short it. No way can this run continue forever. Ethereum was at $730 on New Years Day and it sits at $3500 today. It goes up 10% daily

Crypto is here to stay. There will be Crypto ETF's within a year and that will open up all that stock market money to it. Hell governments have tried to stop it but could not. Coinbase IPO was recently approved and Crypto is ALL they do. I think that means that the government knows that they cannot stop it and BIG money people are investing BIG money in it.
I tried to get people on here into mining it years ago and no one was interested. My rig has paid for itself several times over and just keeps putting ETH into my wallet.
If you do not get in now I suspect you will be kicking yourself in another year after the ETFs go live.

I’ve lived long enough to see several of these get rich quick scenarios, but I’ve never known of anyone personally that hit the jackpot. I think the first one I paid attention to was Glenn Turner and Dare to be Great . I was in my early twenties and still remember folks I knew that lost everything, even their homes. I’m sure there are some folks that have gotten rich but its never been anyone that I knew.

I got in Doge for $300 at $0.18. I’m up a little over $800 profit right now. Curious to see what will happen this weekend with Elon and SNL. I don’t plan on leaving it in Doge long term but earning money off the crazy train to invest somewhere else is always fun
