Having a hard time finding anything online for sale to convert a 5.56 AR to 9mm.

Anyone have any information on this?

Just buy a whole new 9mm rifle. It will be better for you in the long run, with a dedicated 9mm set of receivers and no mag well adapters or R+D issues. The FX9 in particular is way lighter weight and like 3/4 the size than a 223

Can see the differences in receiver size here, side by side. I also included a picture of a 223 mag well AR with a PCC mag well adapter. I saw one of these adapters on a retail dealer table last time I was at a Pensacola gun show

I see what you mean. I want a pcc but I'm having a hard time finding a great one for under $1k. Since the price is so high Id like to just build one and buy parts every payday but I havent been able to find a lower receiver for a good PCC.

I was exploring the option of buting the pieces to convert my AR instead.

You could always use a 9mm upper on a standard lower and pair it with EndoMags. Standard Pmags with a 9mm mag insert that is very reliable and doesn't require modification to the lower. You'd want to swap the buffer, but nothing else in the lower needs change. Works with LRBHO uppers too.

Aero precision epc9... i built one out and love it. the fx9 is good but has lots of parts that aren't compatible with other ar9 platforms...

I have both an endo mag and dedicated 9mm lower with a bear creek bufferless upper. Both work great.

One of the best things about a PCC is sharing mag compatibility with your sidearm and not having to carry two sets of mags on one vest, not having to buy extra different mags, and not worrying about which pocket you're reaching into when you go to reload real fast. As great as Endomags work for training using cheaper 9mm, for actually using a PCC in a defensive or offensive scenario you want to stick with Glock mags

One of the easiest ways is to buy a CMMG 9mm upper, and their ARC mags. It pins to your lower. You can even buy just the bolt and barrel, if you roll your own.
