What is everyone packing these days??

I've settled in with the XDS as my daily IWB carry, along with a P938 as a pocket gun.

For such small pistols, I am impressed with the accuracy and comfort in shooting both the little 45 ACP and the 9mm I'm toting.

Lots of new guns from the manufacturers in the past couple of years have really catered to the civilian concealed carry customer. I can remember a time when there wasn't much to choose from other than full-size duty type handguns in the gun stores.

I picked up an identical 938 and have been carrying it for about 2 months. Great gun even fits perfect in my 238 crossbreed. Every now and again I carry my EMP in 9mm, with cooler weather coming I'll probably carry some larger pistols.

Im keepin it old school and totin a g19 in a crossbreed supertuck holster.. its actually the rtf2 i got from you awhile back scuba!

I like the looks of the XDS, how is the control with the short barrel? $585 online how is it priced locally?

I have no difficulty controlling the XDS. I've even run 45 Super through mine without difficulty. When Academy Sports has them in stock, they are $529. I've heard that Outcast sells them for less than $500.

I've been carry a p238, probably one of the most comfortable guns I've carried. Now that's it getting cooler, I'll probably go back to carry my Compact Kimber CDP II in my Milt Sparks vm2.

+1 on the XDS, got mine last week. Ran 150 rounds through it last night, flawless, easier to control than I thought.

How does that grip texture do against your side? Looks pretty aggressive.

I found it comfortable. I'm using a P-chip holster from Dead Eye Luke, and he molds a "sweat guard" that covers the rear of the slide. I don't feel the grip while carrying.

I carry it IWB with the Remora holster, don't even know its there.

When I first got my orignal p238 it had the checkered rosewood grips, and they would tear my side up ( IWB in a crossbreed ). Went to the hogue grip and my dainty side didn't feel any more pain . The 938's grip has a pretty aggressive texture on it, but the logo portion that is smooth across the middle of the grip is what my side usually contacts, works out great for sitting in a chair all day.

I also carry the XDS in a crossbreed minituck iwb with either a Ruger LCP or a Kahr PM9 in the back pocket.
Is that considered double barrell ?

Outcast $499 but they usually dont have one. Maybe you could put one on hold. I got mine at USA Performance on Hwy 29 for $549

There is just something about those stamped steel sigs that does it for me. I have been meaning to pick up a P6 for a long time!

Usually a 26 but sometimes a LCP. Looking for a P6 though. Just found this site today. Like it so far. Hope it keeps going.

I've been carrying my G23C, but with the weather turning colder I'll probably switch to one of my 1911s. If I can find a IWB holster that I like. Any thoughts?
