There’s something very like art in a fine English sidelock. The new ones are pretty much prohibitively expensive for most. If you are lucky and diligent in your search, you can find some good value in a fine used English side-by-side.

I'm very lucky to have gotten a Rizzini o/u from a very dear friend before his passing. Its a cherished heirloom that will be passed on to one of my kids (they will have to fight for it).
