buying a kimber custom tle II. anyone got any experience with these?

I just put one of these on layaway. I was sold with the feel and obvious quality craftsman work. I was just curious if any of you other 1911 lovers out there got any input for me on this pistol. I've only ever owned rock island and Taurus 1911's in the past. So I have no experience shooting kimbers. What can you tell me?

Great gun. I started my 1911 obsession with Kimbers, if you eventually happen to get two, just know that you can sell them both and buy a used Wilson. Worked for me. JMO.

Love my BP Ten II...kinda heavy for EDC but 15 rds of 45 is hard to beat.

Congrats! I think it is the best bang for the buck 1911 out there. Well rounded 1911 for any purpose. I am quite surprised by its accuracy for a production 1911. No problem knocking pins at 100 yards with handloads. Good luck and give us your impression and range report.
