5:50 AM i could barely see when I slipped into my stand
6:15 -2 does and 3 fawns came through .
6:32 a hawk almost got a squirrel that was squealing the whole time.
6:40 a huge red headed wood pecker landed in the tree next to me and I watched him work the tree till I realised a buck just slipped by.
6:47 - bachelor group of 4 bucks came by trailing the doe's. did not get a good look at all of them and would have taken the cow horn leading if i was not watching the woodpecker.
2nd deer that showed gave me a 80 yard shot through some brush so I took it and got a glimpse of the other two that took off.

donated the 8 point to a disabled friend in Walnut hill that I promised a deer and they were so appreciative to have him.

no matt , I used a tikka lite 270 win - 130 gr ballistic tip
