I feel the real question, will be the number of Americans that conform to this, in addition to the question of enforcement and how the tattletale Karen's handle themselves... Large problem, is the person that know what you have, and rat you out...

Count on being ratted out if people know you are armed. Even if you do not have such weapons, under likely to be passed domestic terrorism, you could be raided on suspicion. Do not count on protection from the 4th and 5th amendments.
The most dangerous rats could be your relatives. Likely anyone with a trump sign on their lawn during the last election is a 'maga terrorist'. Republican names taken from the voting polls might be another list. We really need to see how this rolls out. Maybe none of ths becomes law if we are super lucky.

About all those pages of paper work for NFA Registration: In the ATF's recent SNAFU on Braced Pistols, it was stated a "streamlined application process" would be implemented in order to expidite the expected high volume of registrations their failed "Objective factors for classifying weapons with pistol braces" would create. It wasn't that the ATF's Technical Branch was going to make determinations one each braced pistol in circulation/Stock, the imposed fear factor of the item being confiscated when inspected (you have to submit the assembled parts, sendind parts seperatly would still constitute "constructive possession") or found in possession of one: would trigger mass registration/extremely high number of applications.

"AW" NFA Registration would have substantially larger numbers if all owners complied (we know bans, confiscation and registration in other Countries has met entrenched resistance, people don't like being turned into criminals with the stroke of a pen). It's odd that the heavy paper work burden on the Applicant and their processing time (months to over a year) can be reduced at the Govs whim when such action suits them.

Probably was the plan to cause by fear for all to register. Many would likely register one setup. keeping other pistols legally in reserve by just removing that brace itself and the gun is legal and can be kept in your safe. A metal detector will not readily find a piece of plastic brace buried in the ground. Also unless they serial number the upper also, once the lower with brace is registered you can put what ever upper on it that you want.
What is not clear is if your setup meets standards to be braced, do they give you a letter stating such.
What I think is that they will go after any semiauto gun that uses a detachable magazine.

Imagine going onto PSA’s website right now and seeing a deal they often advertise, a rifle case and 7 magazines for about $90.00.
Um, I don't have to imagine that, and it was actually $79.99. Or imagine getting a Vortex SPARC that came with 10 PMAGs.

Old canidate Plan just revisited by the gatewypundant. Haven't heard this was in bill form or in any congressional committee yet. No mention of the GunGrabber Czar being appointed either. Something will surface sooner or later. There's some rural, country district dems that know it wont sit well with their voters. Only need one to keep it from being a tie vote and keep the VP out of play. RINO''s are the real problem.
You think they had a riot at the nations capital, let this pass and you ain't seen nothing yet! We will soon see roughly 16+ million people become criminals for non-compliance. The prices on the black market will SOAR like an eagle! Criminals will always have them regardless what laws pass. I guess I'll soon be considered one... PS. FL. Senate Bill 370 has moved forward as of Jan 11th. Yes, it has a long way to go but everything has to start somewhere. I feel one day this will pass. The Dem's will not give up until it does. Hopefully no time soon.

Well the rationale that the Biden gun grab will be unconstitutional based on the legal restriction of "Ex Post Facto" will fail. The reason being that just such an application of Register it, Destroy it or it becomes illegal to posses with criminal fines and or incarceration: has stood since the National Firearms Act of 1934.
We know the gov can asses taxes on the same property year after year or raise taxes over and over with impunity. In fact, they can't criminally Charge a person for possession at an earlier time when it was legal to possess it. They can Charge you for possession if it occures AFTER the Laws are changes.
We need something with substance and "in common usage" is still the strongest arguement not to place additional restrictions on it.
