I am listing my 2004 Polaris 500 H.O. Sportsman for sale. It is a 2004 model year and has 713 miles and 134.3 hours on it. It has been professionally maintained and ridden responsibaly. This machine is 2WD or 4WD selectable by push button. When in 4WD, ALL FOUR wheels are engauged at the same time. Not opposing wheels like many ATVs.

The tires have super high knobs still left on them as I NEVER ran it on a hard packed surface. This model also has high and low range. In low it will go about 15mph and in high it will run about 40mph.

This machine has a WARN 2500lb rated winch and both front and rear steel baskets. It also has both front and rear protection for the CV joint boots. I have added a 2" hitch ball also. I have all paperwork and a few extra parts like filter,plugs,etc.

My trailer is also for sale with this machine.It is a 5'X8' and is rated for 1500lbs. It has high sides and I have added protection for the ATV from rocks and debris in the front.

ATV is $3500. Trailer is $800. You do not have to buy both. The trailer will not sell unless the ATV is gone. This will go to Craigs list in a week or so. --- SAWMAN

I have seen and driven this ATV, plenty of power, looks as new(That is the way Sawman treats all his equipment). You will not buy a better Used unit that you can have confidence in!

Is this a 2 stroke or 4 stoke machine?

This is a 4 stroke machine that has been ridden quite slowly around a hunting club for the past years. LOW milage and LOW hours also.

This machine was taken to Stokes Power Equipment(Polaris dealer)just before I put this add up. They went thru it to make sure everything was OK. I will gladly show a copy of the receipt to any potential buyer. --- SAWMAN

AGREED......those guys down there are a great bunch. Looking at getting a UTV from them now(soon as I sell my ATV). Bought the above ATV from them in Flomaton and they were great then also. Straight up,no BS,tell it like it is bunch of guys. Hard to find these days. --- SAWMAN
