The astronomy club is interested in purchasing or leasing an acre or so of land in a dark sky location, preferably around the Molino area or slightly further north. We mainly want to get as far from light pollution as we can but still remain within a reasonable driving distance from Pensacola.
If anyone ever runs across any property for sale or lease, or any realtors that may know, we would appreciate the tip. The land will only be used for camping and stargazing, no buildings will be placed there except maybe a covered picnic area but no permanent structures. Cleared would be better but anything will be considered.
