I lost a nut for the SCAR extension rail that has been discontinued. FNH doesn’t have any.. so I’m wondering if anyone here can replicate or know someone who can?

Did they tell you what size it was?

    Thanks

    Hey Buck,
Nothing other than “sorry we don’t have any.. reach out to third party” - but they didn’t give advice, so I’m looking at alternative means.
Thankfully, I have one of the nut still so if anyone want to see in person, I can provide it.

Ace Hardware tends to have a large selection of weird nuts/bolts.

Seems like it’s proprietary sized to fit in a socket and then the Allen head bolt is used to tighten?
Just get a hex nut with proper threads and same dimension of the socket, or grind two of the flats of the hex nut to fit the socket.

Won’t be as aesthetically pleasing, but it will work.
